Home/making: a poetic workshop
Everywhere is home; this house, this city, this nation, this body, this mug I prepare in the morning. Nowhere is home. The more I’ve had to make a home, the more abstract it became. To live on an island means to live under the looming threat of climate economy, stripping away all you’ve settled in. Today, geopolitical conflicts displace millions. Home becomes as ephemeral as a dream. Through poetry, I invite us to question the permanence, timelines aan ideas of Home constructed for us or by us.
- Tanicia Pratt, Facilitator
